These photos were taken in or near our accomodation - ratchada fizz ek, soi siep hok. looks like vegas and we don't even feature on the tourist map cause we are too far outta town! We are right near the metro so transport etc is all good
Here are some of our days on the island. We relaxed on the whole, but did go on 1 boat trip which was difficult due to the high waves. When the sun came out the sea was a greta deal more blue, and the shore a brilliant white.
Afternoon we arrived we frolicked on the beach and had a cool sangsom bucket, what self respecting brit could do more? lovely warm ocean and a sticky afternoon despite the lack of sun.
Some bahrain country side with a couple of local idiots in the mix. As it was the month of Ramadan prayer was on on loud speakers all over the place, the heat was incredible - dry, baking hot, inescapable - and it was 8pm!
