We were visiting this volcano on April 1st and John who we were travelling with played an April fools on us by telling us he'd just heard that the volcano we were going to climb had started erupting and the town needed to be evacuated! We fell for it but still wanted to go and see it, ah it was larf. The volcano exploded in 2001 and with the mist around it and burnt trees it looked like it had just happened.Brett and John climbed down into the crater which was ok as they had big sticks..
