Indonesia

Tana Toraja in Sulawesi
This was a very interesting place where the people have elaborate ceremonies for the dead
in which they parade the body around the rice paddies before killing and eating a load of
buffaloes to have as a feast before placing the body high up in a cave with the persons favourite
posessions in a sculpted coffin. The scenery in and around Tana Toraja was really beautiful.
The houses/barns were very decorative and we saw the patterns from the region elsewhere in
Indonesia.
The Albino buffalo is apparently worth 4000 GBP.
